Transmission DC was a community-driven DJ event created by Chaseonaux, a DMV-based DJ and founder of New Day Twos, who invited me to be a featured vendor for the night. Hosted at Transmission DC, the event brought together local DJs, artists, and creatives, with proceeds benefiting the DC Migrant Relief Solidarity Mutual Aid Network (MSMA), a network of community organizations and volunteers dedicated to supporting migrants arriving in Washington, D.C.

For this event, I intentionally curated my collection around the energy of a late-night party while staying true to my one-of-one, hand-painted style. Knowing guests would be dancing, socializing, and moving throughout the venue, I focused on creating art that people could easily carry with them. I designed hand-painted shot glasses, compact mirrors, lighter and smoking holders, along with a collection of music-inspired shirts that reflected the atmosphere of the night. Every product was created with the environment in mind while remaining completely original and individually hand-painted.

I approached the event with professionalism from start to finish, preparing my collection in advance, setting up my booth, and engaging with guests throughout the evening. It was an incredible experience to connect with so many talented artists, DJs, and genuinely kind people while contributing to an event that supported such an important cause. Being able to share my work in a creative space where art, music, and community came together made this one of my favorite markets and reinforced my passion for creating meaningful one-of-one pieces for every environment.
